WORDPRESS WEBSITE CARE
Websites need attention as the software and the business change. We can agree a practical care scope for updates, checks, content changes, and help when something needs a closer look.
A tailored scope and written quote before work begins.
Form Pilates is our fictional website concept, shown to illustrate an editable business website. It is not presented as a maintenance client.
THE RIGHT STARTING POINT
Care is useful when you want help keeping a WordPress site current and a clear agreement about what happens next.
01
You need support with the agreed software updates and website checks, with a schedule that matches your setup.
02
Services, project images, team details, or opening information change, and you want a defined allowance for updates.
03
You need to know who handles website work, provider renewals, and issues that fall outside the normal care scope.
WHAT WE CAN TAKE CARE OF
Care is tailored to the website and the support you need. We review the setup first, then agree the services, frequency, response window, and charges in writing.
The following are available areas of work, not an automatic bundle or service-level guarantee. Your quote identifies what is included, what requires approval, and which provider services remain separate.
01
Apply agreed updates and review the affected parts of the site. The approach depends on compatibility, licensing, and the backup arrangements for your installation.
02
Review which service creates backups, how often they run, and the available retention. Additional backup or restore work can be agreed where the existing setup needs it.
03
At the agreed interval, check selected pages, navigation, forms, and responsive layouts. Define which features need checking so the scope is clear.
04
Update agreed text, images, service details, and other routine content. Confirm the allowance and turnaround expectations; new page builds or features can be quoted separately.
05
Assess reported problems and explain the next step within the agreed response window. Work involving the host, email provider, paid integrations, or specialist recovery may need separate approval.
06
Keep a concise record of completed care work and identify changes that need a decision. Agree how and when that information is shared.
A CLEAR SCOPE IS PART OF THE SERVICE
Care works best when responsibilities are clear. The agreement should name the covered website, scheduled tasks, content allowance, response hours, provider responsibilities, and approval process for additional work. We agree those details before the service begins.
Share the website address and what kind of help you need.
Tell us which hosting, backup, and paid plugin services are already in place.
Describe how often content changes and any features that are especially important to the business.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
Understand the website, provider services, software, and current backup arrangements.
Confirm the covered tasks, frequency, access requirements, response window, and price.
Complete the agreed work and checks, with approval for changes outside the scope.
Share the agreed record of work and revisit the scope when your website or business needs change.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
We can review an existing WordPress website first. The platform, condition, access, licenses, and integrations determine whether we can support it and what initial work is needed.
Only if the written quote specifically includes them. Hosting, domain registration, email, and paid plugin services often remain separate subscriptions under your control.
The schedule is agreed for your website. The proposal lists the tasks and frequency, rather than assuming the same routine suits every setup.
Use the agreed contact route. We assess reported issues within the contracted response window and explain what can be handled within scope or needs additional approval. Provider outages and specialist recovery may involve third parties.
They can be added to an agreed allowance or quoted separately. A care agreement should distinguish routine content changes from new pages, substantial redesigns, and new integrations.
The quote and service agreement set out billing, notice periods, scope changes, and handover arrangements. Those terms are agreed before the service begins; no plan is assumed from an enquiry.
A DIFFERENT STARTING POINT?
A considered first website, with a clear message, a distinctive design, and a practical path to launch.
Rethink an existing website’s content, design, and customer journey while planning a careful transition.
LET’S MAKE THE SHIFT
Tell us about your website and the help you would find useful. We will review the starting point and discuss an appropriate care scope.
Tell us where you are with your website and what you want to improve.
