WORK / LANDSCAPING
GROUNDLINE LANDSCAPING.
From a vague garden idea to a useful brief. A closer look at the design, mobile experience and working planner behind our fictional landscaping concept.
ORIGINAL FICTIONAL BRAND / DESIGN DEMONSTRATION
Drag the comparison, explore the design decisions, then open the concept to try the website itself. This is an original demonstration, not a client project.

BEFORE
AFTER
Drag to feel the shift. Illustrative before design → our current live concept. Original fictional business, not a client redesign.
01 / Room to grow
A clearer path
to an enquiry.
The design challenge: a homeowner likes the photographs, but does not yet know which service fits or what to ask. Groundline turns that uncertainty into a simple, structured starting point.
Create an original Palm Bay-inspired landscaping brand for homeowners considering a garden. Explain three service routes, make the work easy to imagine and help visitors describe their priorities. This is a self-initiated demonstration, not a client commission.
Garden imagery establishes the mood; service cards explain landscape design, garden refresh and outdoor living. Each route leads to the same garden brief, keeping the next action consistent. The FAQ answers practical questions before the visitor begins.
The live planner asks about the space, priorities and project stage, then produces a sample brief without personal details. Service links, the planner and reset control are interactive. The demo does not email, book a visit or store a customer record.

THE SAME EXPERIENCE / ON YOUR PHONE

ONE DESIGN DECISION
Start with the garden you want to live in.
THE THINKING / UP CLOSE
A short garden brief brings the space, priorities and starting point together before the first conversation.
BEHIND THE BUILD / ORIGINAL CONCEPT
Good design has
a job to do.
01 / THE VISITOR JOURNEY
See it. Understand it.
Start a brief.
The opening garden photograph sells the feeling. Three service cards explain the options. A single planning action connects those sections so the visitor never has to guess where to begin.
Try this: choose Back garden and More shade in the live planner, then preview your brief. The summary reflects those choices.
02 / BUILT FOR A PHONE
The same story.
Less friction.
The mobile preview above shows the actual concept. Columns stack into a clear reading order, images keep their proportions and the planner uses labelled controls. Visitors can explore the full experience without downloading anything.
Open the concept on your phone: move from Services to the brief, select priorities, preview the result and reset it. That is the journey this design is built around.
03 / WHAT YOU CAN TEST
A useful first conversation.
The garden planner turns selections into a readable sample brief. The FAQ expands in place. Service links take visitors directly to the planner. These are working front-end interactions—not screenshots.
A live customer version could send that brief into an enquiry tracker and trigger a follow-up. Those connections would be separately scoped and tested; they are not active in this demo.
04 / A REAL PROJECT HANDOVER
Made to be managed.
For a commissioned build, we would show you how to update the WordPress/Elementor content, replace garden images and edit services. We would document the agreed integrations, ownership, access and ongoing responsibilities.
Before launch: agree the final content, check links and forms, review phone layouts and confirm where enquiries go. Optional care is separate from the build.
Evidence, honestly: this fictional concept demonstrates design decisions and working interactions. It has no client testimonial, measured conversion uplift or revenue result. Any future client results will be published only with permission and supporting evidence.
